To resolve this issue, change the settings on the account so that access is not blocked.
If the account being used is an adult account
Xbox LIVE Profile settings
To access Xbox LIVE Indie Games,
Member Content must be set to "Everyone." To make sure that the setting is correct, follow these steps:
1. | Press the Xbox 360 Guide button. |
2. | Locate the Settings area, and then select Profile.

3. | Select Edit Profile, and then select Privacy Settings.
|
4. | Select Member Content, and then make sure the setting is Everyone. |
If this does not resolve the problem or if content is still not visible in the Games Marketplace, the content may be hidden by the Family Settings.
Family Settings
Family Settings can block the display of content that is rated lower than the setting for the console. To make sure that content is not hidden from view, follow these steps:
1. | Press the Xbox 360 Guide button.

2. | Locate the Settings area, and then select Family Settings.
|
3. | Select Console Controls, and then enter the Family Settings pass code.
|
4. | Select Restricted Content, and then make sure the setting is Show All Content. |
If the account being used is a child account
Users of Xbox LIVE child accounts that have an age setting of under 13 cannot access Xbox LIVE Indie Games. The age setting on the account must reach 13 for the user to be able to access Xbox LIVE Indie Games.
Xbox LIVE Profile settings
To access Xbox LIVE Indie Games, the Member Content setting must be
Allowed for everyone. To check this setting, follow these steps:
1. | Press the Xbox 360 Guide button. |
2. | Locate the Settings area, and then select Family Settings. |
3. | Select Xbox LIVE Controls, and then enter the password for the parent account that was used when the child account was created. |
4. | Make sure that the Member Content setting is Allowed. |
If this does not resolve the issue or if the content is still not visible in the Games Marketplace, the content may be hidden by Xbox 360 Console Family Settings.
